I can send and receive secure email in two different ways.
  • S/MIME Digital ID's.  Using Digital ID's, which are also called digital certificates or personal certs, is my preferred way to send and receive secure email.  To obtain my S/MIME Digital ID, click here, and enter mike@dryjapat.com in the appropriate space.  S/MIME Digital ID's are certificates that can be installed in email clients like Microsoft Outlook, and enable the sending of signed email, and the receiving of encrypted email.  S/MIME Digital ID's are available for individuals from VeriSign, Thawte, and, for European users, GlobalSign.  Digital ID's from other vendors are available for enterprise users.  VeriSign Digital ID's cost under $15 on an annual basis, GlobalSign Digital ID's cost 16 Euros annually, and Thawte Digital ID's are free.  Note that VeriSign's, Thawte's, and other vendors' S/MIME certificates are compatible with one another.

  • PGPClick here for my PGP key.  Information regarding PGP can be found by clicking here.  PGP keys are available for free for personal purposes, and are available for under $20 for business purposes.
